I ordered this dress for a trip to Vegas and when I opened the package I was very impressed with the quality and couldn't wait to try it on! At first I was very disappointed as it runs VERY large and hit at a very awkward length making it look frumpy. (I am 5'7" and wear a size 18-20 typically) I took it in to be altered and they ended up taking it in at the waist, shortening the length of the dress about 6 inches - to just above the knee, and altering the halter top to lay properly. (alot of alterations made to this dress to make it work!) Finished product... I love it! The back is low so I will need to try & find a strapless bra with a very low back clasp but all in all, if you are able to make the alterations it can be a fabulous dress!

The fabric is gorgeous - it feels and looks expensive. I am 5'6", 185ish, inverted triangle, and I got the 14. It fit my waist and hips perfectly.
Like other reviewers, though, I thought the bust was weirdly cut. But, I had an inspired thought and realized that the halter straps were long enough and wide enough be attached to the back of the dress. When I did that (even with just safety pins), the bust fit perfectly. Plus I could wear a bra, which I really need.
My dry cleaners charged $25 to do the alteration. Since it was on final sale and I couldn't return it, I was happy to pay $60 (it was $35 online) to end up with a gorgeous dress.
So if you can afford the extra for the alterations, it really is worth it!

I love just about everything about this dress - except the bust is simply too large. I am a pretty well proportioned 16 - but the top is way too big. I will get it altered (as it was final sale..). But I have found that not all dress sizes are consistent. I've been getting either the 16W or the 14/16W and sometimes they are too big (this one), sometimes they are perfect (the black/gray houndstooth twofer), or ridiculously small (the striped one).

I just got this in the mail today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It was my first purchase from Eloquii, and it definitely won't be my last. The material is great, and the dress is just beautiful. I bought a size smaller hoping I would fit into it by May, and I was incredibly surprised (and ecstatic) that it fits already! That being said I think it must run a bit loose. But that works out great for me because now I can wear it sooner. LOVE this dress!!

Love this dress. I bought at a fantastic price and feel it was well worth the money. I will have to have some minor alterations done on the top as it is a bit big. The dress is a wonderful a-line and skims the hips. Its pretty and slimming. I wear a 14-16 and am curvy.
